As many Americans prepare to face those well-intended, but oft-abandoned New Year’s resolutions, what changes in resolve should the new 112th Congress be targeting? We prepare to close the books on the 111th Congressional agenda, but now what? In this exclusive MyGovCost.org Policy Analysis, economist and creator of the Government Cost Calculator, Craig Eyermann, tells the new policy-makers to “aim at the zero deficit line.”
Aim at the Zero Deficit Line by Craig Eyermann (PDF)
Before this Congress raises yet again the debt ceiling I suggest using all unspent TARP and other bailout funds and rescind the recent bureaucrat pay raises. It is time for these supposed public servants to put some skin in the game, armed forces excluded they quite literally have skin in the game. 5% across-the-board budget cut for every program and department. Any cuts in Social Security, Medicare as wells means testing also applies to all government pension and health care payments, again military excluded.

Obama’s Healthcare Reform is costing me way too much that is driving up food price because of all these regulations, we’re paying more getting less for our dollars.
I urge the Republicans to stick to their promises as they said they were going to do not to side with the Democrats because they are Socialists they would get you into trouble.
Please repeal Obama’s Healthcare Reform—it is taking doctors and nurses out of the healthcare industries.
Thank you
