I wonder if most retired folks realize that they didn’t actually pay
their fair share when working their whole life. That’s why the current
generation and to pay for themselves and the retired folks. It’s was
practically lesson one in college. The US government let the economy
flourish by not taxing the previous generations accordingly so as a
result what they put in is basically gone within 2 years of retirement
and what that are in effect collection is welfare after 2 years.

All the people commenting on here are ridiculous. That cost up there is based on people who make more then four times the poverty level. So you have to pull in over $45,960 a year to have to pay that amount. Honest hard working Americans like me who are only fortunate enough to be a waiter in a restaurant make about $8,000 a year on our checks since our company’s are to greedy to allow us to work 30 hour work weeks and help cover our insurance charges and we are not given the opportunity to get health care, it will be nice for us to finally have the chance to be healthy too.

I am 68. I pay $296 a month for Medicare and $501 for Healthnet Seniority Plus. My wife is under 65 so we both pay over $15K a year for health insurance. ACA will kill us financially and we will continue to fund the poor, the illegal aliens, the uninsured. Worked my butt off for over 50 years and I will see my savings go up in smoke because of government crooks.

With a premium of $321 a month, double what I pay now, I will have to drop my health insurance coverage as I cant afford it anymore. Thanks Congress you bunch of socialist idiots, you will have more AMericans uninsured.

Disregarding the healthcare costs, the whole bill has the Obama’s purpose of destroying this country. Of course it wasn’t written by one person but by all sorts of Democrats. Its only one thing in his quest to use many other avenues to destroy this country. If you cannot see it, I pity anyone that doesn’t see it.
